Stopped in one Friday morning for breakfast. Opted for a create my own breakfast and was rewarded with a lovely well cooked cafe breakfast. Sausages good Bacon excellent Fried eggs, very good prefer yolk little runnier but I'll specify that next time. Hash browns lovely White buttered toast, nicely slavered with a good buttery spread. Tomato ketchup, from a big red squeezy bottle, these can always be a bit hit and miss as some ketchups are truly awful.... But this was an excellent ketchup, couldn't tell if it was Heinz but it was as good as. Lovely cup of tea to wash it down. Great friendly service from staff. Will visit again for breakfast definitely.
Cafe 44 gets even better each time I go there. Amy and Ellie were very welcoming to.my friend and I, as ever. My friend had never been there and was very impressed@ They are so friendly and helpful and are very kind to customers who need particular help. They seem to have a large number of regulars, who they know by name and immediately bring their order without even being asked. Service is very prompt and you get a warm smile from both young women when they take an order or bring food&drink. The breakfasts, even the Small Breakfast, are copious and such good quality and value. My veggie brekkie, at 8, was huge and had a really good range of food, including mozzarella sticks and chips(!), as well as all the usual. Two eggs too! Thanks to the hard-working Turkish Chef&owner! My flat white was yummy, so I ended up having two! I cant recommend this cafe enough! We will be back again! Why go anywhere else?! Thank you all! Outstanding breakfast in a box take away food. The Missus had a quarterpound burger with all the trimmings and she was very happy indeed. We get take out from here all the time as its a reliable source of sustenance to blow the hunger pangs right Outta the window!!! Try it, you won't be disappointed
Great little cafe in centre of the town, friendly staff and good portions, tasty and filling. Had a full breakfast which was well cooked - the crispy black pudding was delicious! Would definitely return.
Staff are so friendly and polite, my late looked so cute.. little hearts was a nice touch.id never seen before.
